Wigan Warriors vs Leeds Rhinos Round 2 Super League Preview

There are no changes in the Wigan 19 for this highly anticipated game at the DW stadium this evening against a Leeds Rhinos team who were somewhat disappointing in the Loss to Warrington Wolves last week. Tony Clubb and Gabe Hamlin have overcome injuries and coach Adrian Lam has left his squad unchanged. Leeds Rhinos head coach David Furner has made two changes, with prop Nathaniel Peteru and winger Harry Newman added to the squad with Jamie Jones Buchanan and Cameron Smith making way.

These are two of the heavy weights of the British game and a lot is expected from Big Samoan centre Konrad Hurrell who at sixteen and a half stone adds some serious thrust to the Leeds backline.

Trent Merrin is also a proven Kangaroo international and but he will find the Wigan pack containing Ben Flower, Tony Clubb and Sean O'Loughlin to be as tough as any in the NRL.

These are two Quality teams looking to get their season under way with a victory. For Wigan Joe Bullock has slotted seamlessly into super league and looks like a seasoned Rugby league forward.. Its really a game that could go any way and if Kallum Watkins finds that extra spring in his step he will be a handful for the wigan defence

a draw is highly likely, but on this occasion I will take Leeds by 2- 6 points
