Salford Red Devils vs Toronto Wolfpack The Qualifiers 8's Round 4 Preview

Salford currently sit top of The Qualifiers table as the only unbeaten side, Toronto will have to put in a big performance against the Red Devils to move one step closer to an automatic Super League spot.

These sides have never met before so we can only go off their recent form, the Wolfpack have lost 1 game of their last 3, a tight contest in Canada between themselves and Hull KR. As previously mentioned, Salford are currently unbeaten in the Qualifiers, they are currently on a 4 game winning streak after beating Leeds on the last day of the regular season.

Salford make two enforced changes to their squad from last week, Ben Nakubuwai is struggling with a shoulder injury while Daniel Murray has also picked up a knock and misses out, they are replace by Lee Mossop and George Griffin, Griffin making his first appearance since the end of June.

Salford Red Devils: Kris Welham, Junior Sa’u, Niall Evalds, Robert Lui, George Griffin, Josh Jones, Mark Flanagan, Lama Tasi, Ryan Lannon, Luke Burgess, Tyrone McCarthy, Josh Wood, Derrell Olpherts, Lee Mossop, Jake Bibby, Ed Chamberlain, Greg Burke, Jackson Hastings, Joey Lussick.

Toronto Wolfpack: NO TEAM DETAILS

I'm backing a Salford win for this one, the Red Devils have looked very good since firming up their spine with the two Australian imports, if they can keep their momentum rolling from the last few weeks it's more than likely that they will leave the AJ Bell with the win, I'm backing Salford by 7-12.
