Leeds Rhinos vs Toronto Wolfpack The Qualifiers Round 7 Preview

While Leeds currently sit atop the Qualifiers table, by no means does that mean their return to Super League in 2019 is secure, currently the Rhinos sit just 2 points ahead 2nd, 3rd and 4th. They face the side that currently occupy that golden 3rd spot, Toronto, who chase back to back promotions and a Super League debut in 2019.

This is the first time these two sides have ever met so again it'll have to be a head to heads done on recent form, Leeds have lost just 1 of their last 6 games, that was the 38-36 capitulation against Hull KR. Toronto have lost 2 of their last 6 games, losses coming against Salford and Hull KR, these sides only separated by 1 win.

The Rhinos are without young fullback Jack Walker after he took a head knock at Halifax, he's replaced by Aston Golding, Singleton serves his first game of a two game ban and is replaced by Brett Ferres.

Leeds Rhinos: Ashton Golding, Tom Briscoe, Liam Sutcliffe, Joel Moon, Richie Myler, Adam Cuthbertson, Matt Parcell. Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Brad Dwyer, Anthony Mullally, Jimmy Keinhorst, Brett Ferres, Nathaniel Peteru, Ash Handley, Cameron Smith, Josh Walters, Luke Briscoe, Dom Crosby, Jordan Thompson.

Toronto Wolfpack: No Team News Available

This game has equal significance to the both sides, Leeds needing the win to make their return to Super League for 2019 and ensuring they send off Joel Moon and Jimmy Keinhorst with wins in their last games as Rhinos players. I'm backing a Leeds win in this game, Toronto have struggled against the Super League sides they have faced and I see this game being no different, Leeds to win this by 7-12 points.
