Match Preview:
The only way this could get better is if was the Grand Final show down! A rivalry stretching back over 100 years, all the way back to the starting days of this great sport. Now we get to see the rivalry continue as they take eachother on in the big Grand Final Qualifier to determine who plays the Melbourne Storm next Sunday!

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have had the media focus in a way they most definitely wouldn’t like coming into this big showdown. With the sex scandal being the media highlights of this week, it’s not a very good thing for the sport and most definitely for the club. Despite that though, I wouldn’t expect anything less than an incredible performance to come from the Bunnies. After a crazy escape last week, and a crazy ending the week before, the Rabbitohs have been the team to watch this finals series, giving us thrillers for days, however for them and their fans, they know this game extends on from that. Win, and you’re into the big one. Lose, and you’re done. Up against a long time rival, nothing would taste sweeter than eliminating the Roosters to make the GF!

The Sydney Roosters, what an up and down year it’s been for them! A rough start to the season led into one of the most dominant mid season forms I’ve ever seen. For most the year I thought they were simply unbeatable, however that form dropped heading into finals, and lucky for them, they found a revive at the right time as they took down the Sharks and grabbed themselves the bye coming into this game. The Minor Premiership was sweet, but these boys don’t play 25 rounds for that. With that said, the pressure is all on the Bondi boys, as that #1 tag is tough to upkeep and push until the end. The Rabbitohs and the Roosters have the longest and greatest rivalry of all time, and I expect the Roosters to bring it, and bring it hard to the Bunnies tonight.

Prediction: Roosters by 1.
Another thriller for the Bunnies, and a lucky escape courtesy of a Cooper Cronk field goal. That’s my prediction, bring it on tonight!

Blake.
