Castleford Tigers vs Wakefield Trinity Super 8's Round 6 Preview

After winning their last four games Castleford look set for a semi final berth as they take on near neighbours Wakefield Trinity at the Mend a House stadium this Friday ( kick off 7.30)
Castleford half back and inspiration Luke Gale returns to what looks a very healthy Tigers nineteen .
Wakefield who still have a chance of finishing fifth will be without star wingman Tom Johnstone after a sensational season. Keegan Hirst, David Fifita, and Anthony England are also out with injuries although Danny Kirmond is in line for a return after being sidelined for much of the campaign.
For Castleford Joe Wardle Makes way for Will Maher and in Paul McShane and Adam Milner the home team have two players who have consistently led from the front this season.

Whilst it is doubtful that Castleford will secure a home semi final spot they have none the less performed admirably as the season approaches its finale. Wakefield will be playing for a seasons finish of 5th which will be an outstanding achievement.

Two excellent British coaches in Darryl Powell and Chris Chester and neither will be throwing the towel in on this thrilling encounter.
With a big thundering pack containing Mike McKeekan , Junior Moors, Liam Watts, Grant Millington and Adam Milner the visitors will need to perform at their very best to hold this tigers team.

I’m taking Castleford to take this game by 14-18 points.
