Wolves Extinguish Dragons Flame

This was easy runaway victory for a warrington team with two red hot wingers playing clinical and fast rugby league against a weakened Catalan team .
With several notable players resting the Dragons struggled to match the clinical speed of a warrington team at the top of their game.
scores from Josh Charnley, Mitch Brown and a double from the resurgent Tom Lineham gave the wolves a 22-0 lead at half time.

What a return to form for Lineham who two years ago looked a potential world beater. Perhaps the addition of Josh Charnley to the Wolves ranks has allowed Lineham to recapture that deadly wingman’s finish that he seemed to have lost .

Kevin Brown, Toby King, Tyrone Roberts , Declan Patten and Joe Philbin added tries at will with a solitary response from PNG international David Mead.

Lineham completed his treble in splendid style with Patton kicking 8 goals to give the home side a 56 points to 6 victory .

Warrington have players like Toby King and Tyrone Roberts showing superb form and the combination of King and Bryson Goodwin in the centres is working well.
This is a team now looking strong with excellent combinations all over the field .

Fair play to Dragons coach Steve McNamarra who gave some talented young French players a run out, but today they were well beaten by a side who will be difficult to beat at home.
