Sea Eagles defeat Bulldogs 18-6.

With both sides looking towards 2019 this match doesn’t have much to play for but pride.

Manly opened the scoring with Daly Cherry-Evans kicking a Penalty Goal and Sea Eagles lead early 2-0.

The Bulldogs scored the first try of the match in the 19th minute through rookie winger Reimis Smith and Rhyse Martin slotted the conversion to give the Bulldogs a 6-2 lead.

Not much scoring in this first half as some opportunities went begging and in the 33rd minute Manly received a timely penalty and Cherry-Evans kicked the penalty goal.

Bulldogs went into the halftime break with a 6-4 lead.

Halftime Bulldogs 6-4.

To open the second half Manly hit quick through fullback Tom Turbo Trbojevic but Daly Cherry-Evans couldn’t convert the try but Manly had a slim 8-6 lead.

Turbo would go over for a double 4 minutes later and again Cherry-Evans couldn’t convert but Manly has a 12-6 lead.
