Game Preview:
Last round of the regular season and Dragons are going to want to use this match to launch them into the finals series in better form than they have had the past month or so.

Newcastle have their old boys day so they traditionally turn it on for their old boys and put in one of their better performances of the year in the last round.

Also Knights won’t be in the finals so they will really want to send their home crowd off after a much improved 2018 season with a big win.

Dragons are shaky at the moment and will want to win this week to get rid of the jitters going into the finals.

Key Match Up: Mitchell Pearce v Ben Hunt
Apart from a small lay off due to injury Mitchell Pearce’s first season for Newcastle can be looked at as a success. Avoiding a 4th spoon and missing the finals by a few wins the Knights players can thank Mitchell Pearce for a few clutch wins in 2018 and this week is no different.

On the flip side Ben Hunt for the most part has had a decent season but since Origin he has dropped the ball.

His form is less to be desired and he will see this match against Pearce as a test and a good one before going into the finals.

Nath’s Prediction: Knights by 14
The Dragons don’t give me confidence at all to tip them at Newcastle on old boys day.
Knights will lift at home and get a good win against a sliding Dragons.
