Preview:
2nd v Last on the ladder and the Eels seem to have checked out for the 2018 season. They will want to put in a good performance before finishing their year for the fans who have endured this wretched season.

Roosters on the hand have lost a couple in a row now and are stuttering towards the finals. Playing last place could be a good thing as it could be a bit of an easy win especially considering their opposition has seemingly checked out after being demolished last week by the Cowboys.

Roosters need to get their attack to click this week before their finals campaign or they could be rolled or very quickly.

Main Key Match Up: Jarryd Hayne v James Tedesco
In a year that has been pretty dull for the Eels they haven’t really had many standout players but since Hayne has been back from injury he has arguably been one of their best week in and out. Trying to spark anything for suffering Eels fans.

Tedesco is in decent form himself and the current NSW fullback up against the former NSW fullback this week with both in good form could be the reason why their teams win this week.

Hayne holds a lot of x-factor for the Eels and he and Gutherson link well swapping their roles and playing roaming roles all around the park keeping defences in 2 minds. It worked well against the Dragons and if Roosters aren’t switched on they could be surprised.

Roosters combinations of Keary, Cronk and Tedesco were working well before Keary got injured and now their combinations a spluttering along. They need to click this week and Tedesco needs a huge game to warm into finals football.

Prediction: Roosters by 18
The Eels have checked out. Time to look between your fingers Eels fans this isn’t going to be and easy finish to a horrible year.
