Match Preview

After getting just nudged out of two points last week, the Cronulla Sharks will be looking to make amends and stay within distance of the top 4 as they take on the Manly Sea Eagles down on the Shire. Manly were hanging their head in shame last week, botching a massive lead to let the Panthers get back in the winners circle. With very few changes coming in for both sides this week, both teams need the two points for either a top 4 push or a push away from the wooden spoon.

Key Match Up

Valentine Holmes and Tom Trbojevic have been in good form over the last few weeks, with Val Holmes capturing the better form of the two after his Origin campaign. Trbojevic gave away the crucial error that allowed Penrith to go in front with just minutes left last week, so he will be looking to have a huge bounce back performance. The Sharks need Holmes to hold this form as we moved into the finals.

Prediction

Cronulla can not afford a slip up, and Manly want to end the season with a couple of upsets. As Wade Graham slides back into the side, expect him to be a main focal point of the attack alongside the Sharks fullback. That, along with Manly's current form, will provide Cronulla with a differential win.

Cronulla 36-14 - Sosaia Feki first tryscorer
