Halifax RLFC vs Toronto Wolfpack The Qualifiers Round 1 Preview

Halifax and Toronto prepare to go to battle for the 3rd time in 2018, both sides seeing opportunity to get into the top 3 early on and give them something to hold on to.

Toronto currently hold a 100% head to head record against Halifax, both meetings going the way of the Wolfpack, the first meeting a closer affair at 20-6 while the second fixture was a substantially more one sided affair, a 42-10 win to Toronto in that game.

Halifax are without props Adam Tangata and Dan Fleming, Fleming unable to feature against his former club due to a contractual clause. Halifax also name loan signing Jordan Baldwinson looks set to make his debut.

Halifax RLFC: Ed Barber, Chester Butler, Jacob Fairbank, Dan Fleming, Shane Grady, Simon Grix, Ben Heaton, Ben Johnston, Sion Jones, Ben Kaye, Will Maher, Brandon Moore, Elliot Morris, Kieren Moss, Scott Murrell, James Saltonstall, Will Sharp, Steve Tyrer, James Woodburn-Hall.

Toronto Wolfpack: Gary Wheeler, Liam Kay, Josh McCrone, Ryan Brierley, Jack Buchanan, Bob Beswick, Ashton Sims, Andrew Dixon, Jack Bussey, Andy Ackers, Adam Sidlow, Blake Wallace, Cory Paterson, Sam Hopkins, Jake Emmitt, Matty Russell, Gareth O’Brien, Darcy Lussick, Chase Stanley.

I'm predicting a Toronto win in this game, it won't be a landlslide but it will be a Wolfpack victory none the less, i'm predicting a margin of +13 in favour of Toronto but both sides will put in a good showing overall.
