Ukraine Tour Update

The  Milford Marlins and Ukraine Rugby League saw yet another winning weekend. The first team playing in the National Conference League against Bradford Dudley Hill away from home, three Ukraine internationals named for the first team in this game; Alexander Scorbach playing in  the centre, Yevhen Trusov in the second row and Mykhailo Troyanon the wing. Trusov increasing his tally for the season yet again as the Marlins ran out 32-18 winners.

The second team playing on more familiar turf against the Eastmoor Dragons, a home fixture on the Archie Gordon (Leeds Rugby Academy). Four Ukrainian's lining up for the second team: Serhiy Kravchenko and Oleksandr Syvoko in the second row, Bohdan Vetyuk at Fullbeck and Alexander Shcherdon in the centre. Sergey Kravchenko grabbing two tries and Bogdan Veprik scoring a hat-trick to secure a huge 58-6 win over Eastmoor.

The Marlins first team now sitting in 4th and the second team still sitting at the top of the table, Artur Martyrosyan also had a special message for the Ukrainian community of Leeds after their on going support " Our boys are very grateful for the support of the Ukrainian community of Leeds."
