Game Preview:
The Knights have had a much improved season while Cowboys have been one of the biggest underachievers in 2018. Round 20 comes around and who’d think both these sides would be out of finals contention let alone just the Knights.

The Cowboys biggest problem has been their ageing forwards while the Knights biggest strength has been the performances of their young forwards like the Saifiti brothers and the likes of Lachlan Fitzgibbon.

Both sides will be wanting a win this week, Cowboys to try and avoid a wooden spoon and the Knights just to continue the improvement they have seen so far this year.

Key Match Up: The halves
Thurston v Pearce. Usually when these 2 come up against each other and they’re the key match up it was for State of Origin but this time Thurston needs to lift his failing Cowboys to a win while Pearce back in his third game after injury is steering his Knights around perfectly and is looking at 3 wins from 3 games after his injury.

Nath’s Prediction: Knights by 12
I see the Knights continuing the Cowboys woes this week.

With Kalyn Ponga returning, the Knights have that x-factor to sink the Cowboys.
