Both sides are more than likely going to miss the top 8 this season with the gap between 8th and 9th slowly getting bigger and bigger. Knights and Eels fans will be wanting their sides to finish strongly and that starts this week on the run home to the end of the season.

Main Key Match Up: Connor Watson and Mitchell Pearce v Corey Norman and Mitchell Moses
The main match up I’ve chosen to highlight for this match is that if the halves. Both sides will rely heavily on their halves kicking games and running games to get them on the front foot this week. Both sides are pretty even up front and so this puts pressure on each set of halves to really step up his week. Moses and Norman have struggle for consistency in 2018 while Watson and Pearce have been struck by Injuries in parts of the season, so this week is important for both sides halves. When on each set of halves are exciting to watch and the forwards will need to lay a platform for their generals to steer them around the park to a victory.

Kalyn Ponga is a huge out for Newcastle and they will miss his involvement but Mitchell Pearce back from injury will give the Knights a boost but I feel the Eels with their heart breaking loss against the Dragons in Round 16 will spur them on this week and they will just sneak home. Eels by 2
