Huddersfield Giants vs Hull FC Super League Round 20 Preview

Hull are without Sika Manu, Joe Westerman, Jamie Shaul and the influential duo of Mark Sneyd and Fetuli Talanoa for this clash against the unpredictable Huddersfield giants.

Josh Bowden and Josh Griffin are also still on the side lines for the Airlie Birds giving them a quite significant test of squad depth

This is a crucial clash for both teams with the giants clinging on to top eight aspirations and hull hoping for a top 4 finish.

For Hull expect stand in full back Hakim Miloudi to catch the eye after some superb performances this year. The Frenchman has impressed both on loan with Doncaster and in Super League and has the potential to become a potent force with his all round game .

It's not all bad news for Hull, as the 6 foot 5 inch Chris Green returns and coach Lee Radford will be pleased to see this dependable player returning to action. Dean Hadley looks sure to recover from an injury and the young stylish centre Cameron Scott makes the nineteen .

For the giants Alex Mellor, Sam Hewitt and Olly Russell are replaced by the more experienced Danny Brough, Ukuma Ta’ai and Paul Clough. The size of the defeat last week against Hull KR would have focused the attention of new coach Simon Woolford , but with the extent of injuries in the Hull camp the Giants must be confident of taking this game .
For Hull international centre Jake Connor will be a danger along with the impressive Butch Faraimo and certainly this will be a squad with big ambitions for 2018. On this occasion with a pack containing ikahihifo, Hinchcliffe,Ta’ai, Roberts ,Lawrence and the superb young Matty English I would expect the giants to take this game by 12-14 points
