Serbian Super Cup Final: Red Star Belgrade vs Partizan

On the 17th of June Red Star go in search of their second major trophy of the calendar year, as they take on fierce rivals Partizan. The 2nd trophy would put Red Star in position to meet their 2018 target of 4 trophies, seeing them win every competition they are competing in this year.

Red Star Belgrade have met numerous times this year and it's always been a hard fought game by both sides, the most recent game ended in a Red Star victory at a score 38-28, the fixture a real spectacle as Partisan staged a late fight back before being overpowered by Red Star.

The meeting before was an even closer affair, as Red Star Belgrade snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in the dying moments of the game to steal a 22-20 Win over their bitterist rivals. The third and final meeting between these two sides was another Red Star victory, a 42-26 Win in the Super Cup earlier in the year which will no doubt still be stinging Partizan coming into this game.
