RLATG NCC Round 3 Preview

Spanish Town Vikings vs Duhaney Park Red Sharks

The Vikings currently sit second in the table after last week's narrow loss to the Washington Boulevard Bulls, a Neville Linch double looked to have sealed the win before a Bulls fight back, the Vikings will hope to be able to make the points up this week against an aggrevated Sharks side.

The Sharks were on the receiving end of last week's shock result, only managing a draw against the Jamaica Defence Force Warriors, a final score that Sharks assistant coach, Roy Calvert, made no secret of his feelings stating that he felt his side came into the game "feeling like they had already won the game" he went on to say that he hoped it would be a "wake up call" for the Sharks.
Washington Boulevard Bulls vs GC Angels

The Bulls have an opportunity to go clear of the Angels in the table, both teams holding 1 win and 1 loss in 2018. The Angels were on the receiving end of a 4 point loss at the hands of the Liguanea Dragons in a game that would finish 20-16, Keta Bryan was inches from winning the game for GC on the last play of the game, he was caught just short of the line to see the Dragons hold out for the victory in a frustrating game for the Angels.

The Bulls Stefan Lounds praised his young developing side after their hard fought win win over the Vikings in Round 2, after a slow start followed by a rise in pressure and intensity, Washington Boulevard clawed their way into the game to pick up the win after an Orlando Messado hat-trick, no doubt the league's leading try scorer is on the radar of the Angels.

JDF Warriors vs Liguanea Dragons

The Dragons take on bottom of the ladder Warriors, but the Dragons will be very aware of the threat that JDF pose after their shock point from the fixture against the Red Sharks in Round 2. The Dragons Demetrius Campbell had nothing but praise for how his team played last week after their loss to the Bulls, unfortunately the Bulls having the edge on the Dragons in a very entertaining game.

The Warriors will no doubt be full of confidence after picking up their first points of the season after their draw against out and out favourites Duhaney Park. JDF will be hoping to register their first win of the season come Saturday afternoon and they have shown that they have more than enough ability to do so.
