The Bulls would run the Angels close in this encounter between two top half of the table teams, Antonio Baker coming up with two tries, joined on the scoresheet by Holness and Cueary, Bailey's kicking enough to get the Angels over the line as he kicked 2 out of 4 and a drop goal to give GC a little bit of a cushion. The Bulls falling just short despite tries from Thomas, Green and McDougal, Findlay kicking 2 out of 3 as the Angels saw the game out as 21-16 winners.
