Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 10 defeated by the Gold Coast Titans 32

The Bulldogs returned to Belmore for their round 14 clash against the Titans in what was Moses Mbyes last match for the club.

The Titans were first on the board first after a short ball from Aarow to Proctor, who drew in the fullbac finding Gordon on his outside. Gordon sliped and got dacked as he scored next to the post, giving himself an easy conversion.

Gordon had a double by the 11th minute with  a simple backline play towards the right side of the field. Gordon recieved the pass from Taylor and went through the Bulldogs outside backs untouched. Gordon again converted his try keeping the Titans score even with the game clock.

A quick 20m tap from the Titans resulted in Gordon making the Titans 60 meters and on the 3rd tackle of the set Origin hopefull Ryan James was able to barge over next to the post. Gordon again converting, giving the Titans an 18 point lead after 22 minutes.

An error that seen the Bulldogs first try disallowed resulted in a scrum feed to the Titans 15m out from the Bulldogs line. Up step Anthony Don with one of his amazing one handed put downs, with his entire body in the air and partially over the touch line.

Gordon butchered a certain try for the Titans in the 30th minute after a linebreak. A poor pass when 3 on 1 ended up with Bulldogs ending up with the ball.

The Bulldogs got over the line in the final play of the first half through Mbye, after the Titans attempted to milk an obstruction penalty. Mbye somehow missed the conversion though from just left of the post. Half time score Titans up 22-4.

The Titans got lucky with their first try of the second half. Taylor regathered a kick after a rebound of a Bulldogs players. He then ran through a whole, finding Gordon who then got the ball back to Taylor who put a crossfield bomb in for an unmarked Sami. Extending the lead to 22.

The Bulldogs hit back instantly with some luck of their own, with Olive taking an intercept from a poor Titans pass. Mbye got the conversion. Bulldogs trailed by 16 with 30 minutes to go.

The Titans hit back with 20 on the clock, Proctor running over some would be Bulldog defenders. Gordon extending the lead to 22 with his 4th conversion of the afternoon.

Ash Taylor looked to have taken an intercept resulting in another Titans try, but it was ruled as a knock on by the bunker. In one of a few blown attempts by the Titans in the final 20 minutes.
