Castleford Tigers vs Catalans Dragons Super League Round 19 Preview

After a superb 28-25 victory over Leeds last week Catalan will be looking to pull away from the bottom four in this intriguing battle against the Castleford Tigers .kick off 5.15. With an impressive run of form the dragons have lost just one of their previous seven , with Mickael Goudemand , the young French second rower recalled to the squad .
Suspended Sam Moa will be missed by the dragons as will the injured Jodie Broughton and Antonio Maria .

Castleford Tigers again seem to be building a steady challenge as we move into the critical part of the season with Liam watts , Jesse Sene-lefao, Oliver Holmes and the brilliant Adam Milner returning to add significant strength to the tigers pack .
Hitchcox , Green , Maher and Joe Wardle miss out .

Both teams possess a big pack of forwards and with very high temperatures in the south of France this will be a true test of fitness for both teams

For the Catalans recent signings Drinkwater and Edwards have slotted in very well to the team and as a unit they are starting to click and with tony Gigot as enigmatic as ever Catalans will be confident with a partisan crowd behind them .

But don’t worry about the tigers support with over 1000 fans travelling from West Yorkshire to enjoy the delights of a south of France weekend .

What a difficult game to call but if mcillorum and Drinkwater can control the middle effectively I would predict a narrow Catalan victory by 4-8 points
