Sharks win 5 in a row for the first time since winning the comp.

Cronulla Sharks 22 defeated the Canterbury Bulldogs 16

The last game of round 11 seen the Bulldogs travel to the shire, with the Sharks welcoming back co-captain Gallen as well as Josh Dugan and it was the later who had an early influence on the game though it wasn't beneficial for the Sharks as Dugan dropped a Mbye torpedo. Off the next set Josh Morris crossed for the first try of the match, his 100th for the club.

Edrick Lee got the Sharks on the board with a try in the corner to level the score and with the sideline from conversion Townsend the Sharks took a 2 point lead.

The boot of Moylan produced the next points for the Sharks with a pin point accurate cross field kick finding an unmarked Holmes on the right wing for back to back tries to the Sharks.

The Bulldogs set up camp on the Sharks try line and eventually they found a crack in the Sharks defence, this time it was Brett Morris grounding the ball just inside the touch line.

The Bulldogs recieved back to back penalties attacking the Sharks resulting in Mbye taking the 2 for his first points of the match locking the score's up at 10 all, which it remained until half time.

An individual try from Ramien in the 9th minute of the second half gave the Sharks the lead with a powerful run off a right and a left foot step and four tackle busts to plant the ball down next to the uprights. Townsend converted the try extending the lead to 6.

The Dogs striked back yet again with Brett Morris getting his double, which double his tally for the season.  Unfortunately again though for the Bulldogs Mbye missed the sideline conversion as the side trailed by 2 with 20 minutes to go.

Yet again soft goal line defence from the Dogs lead to another try, this time it was Prior reaching out and slamming the ball down next to the posts for yet another easy conversion for Townsend giving the Sharks an 8 point lead with 10 minutes to go.

Foran had a chance to get the Bulldogs back to within 4 with a good dummy but Paulo got him by the boots resulting in the ball bring grounded centimetres from the line.

Just to keep up with the rest of the round Dugan was sin binned for a professional could in the closing seconds. The Bulldogs took the 2 points to make it a 6 point game with 27 seconds left. But unfortunately that was it as the Sharks won their 5th game in a row.
