Saints Bolstered By Naiqama But Likely To Lose Barba

St Helens have officially secured Fiji captain, Kevin Naqaima, for the 2019 season, unfortunately for the Super League high flyers, speculation is mounting up that Naiqama is in fact current fullback Ben Barba's replacement.

At 29 years old Naiqama has been on the NRL circuit since 2010, debuting with the Newcastle Knights, before stints with the Penrith Panthers and currently the Wests Tigers, playing over 100 games at first grade level, scoring 47 tries, as well as representing Fiji 15 times.

Barba has been linked with a return to the Cronulla Sharks, the team he was dismissed from almost 2 years ago, especially after recent comments from Sharks Head Coach, Shane Flanagan, who said he had definitely not ruled out Barba's return and he would be welcome back at the Shire.
