Central Coast is the winner.

Sydney Roosters 34 Defeated the Gold Coast Titans 14

The Roosters took their round 12 home game against the Gold Coast Titans to Central Coast Stadium and it was the Titans with first points after back to back penalties gave Gordon an easy opportunity for 2 next to the post.

Another penalty given away by the Rooster got the Titans back attacking their line and a simple grubber from Taylor resulted in the easiest of tries for Gordon as Ferguson fumbled the ball in his in-goal. Gordon was unable to convert his try. Titans leading 6-0 after 10.

The Roosters hit back from a grubber kick of their own after receiving back to back penalties. Friend was able to find some clear space behind the defensive line and Tedesco planted the ball unchallenged. With Mitchell's conversion the scores were locked up at 6 all after 15.

Back to back penalties too the Roosters should have again resulted in more points, this time through a Mitchell penalty goal. But unfortunately for the Roosters he missed a fairly simple kick.

A poor defensive read from NSW Blues hopeful Mitchell should have resulted in a try for the Titans, but a questionable decision by the bunker ruled an obstruction play occured in the lead up.

It didn't take long though for the Titans to cross again through the same player disallowed minutes earlier. A bullet pass from Taylor to Don, seen the Don cross just inside the touch line once again handing the Titans a 4 point lead. Gordon got the side line conversion giving the Titans a 12-6 lead.

A Titans penalty minutes from half time gave them the chance to go into the break with a 8 point lead and Gordon nailed the kick. Bringing his points tally for the match at 10.

The Roosters were first on the board 5 minutes into the second half with Lui barging over close to the line off a lovely short ball from Radley. Mitchell easily converted the try, bring the Titans lead back to 2. 14-12.

Back to back penalties to the Roosters gifted them a chance to level up through a Mitchell penalty goal and this time he made no mistake. 14 all 8 minutes into the second half.

The Roosters were attacking the Titans line again minutes later and after an Ash Taylor strip he was sent to the sin bin and Mitchell kicked the Roosters to their first lead of the match with the side deciding to take the easy 2 on offer.

That man Mitchell was next to cross the line in the Roosters next set. The Roosters went down the Titans short side and with them missing Taylor in the defensive line Mitchell was able to bust through the line and sheer power got him over the line. He converted his own kick giving the Roosters a 22-14 lead with 26 minutes remaining.

The flood gates had opened and this time it was Cronk who scored a try through a bit of luck from his own kick after Cartwright fumbled the ball due to a tough bounce. With the try being under the stick it was an easy conversion for Mitchell.

Mitchell was binned for back to back penalties given by the Roosters with 7 and a half minutes left on the clock. Unfortunately the Titans were unable to cross the line whilst a man up. But with some Tedesco brilliance the Roosters were able to cross again, this time through Aubusson. With Mitchell off the field Ferguson took over the kicking duties and was able to convert the try from out wide.

 Final score 34-14 Roosters.
