Bulldogs fight till the death over Eels

Bulldogs defeat Eels 20-12

Bottom of the table clash and both sides would want to win this one especially over arch rivals.

Dogs hit the scoreboard first with a penalty goal in the opening couple of sets of the match.
They didn’t have to wait much longer for their first try to Brett Morris converted by Mbye.

It was all Dogs early on and the Eels looked flat but the Eels suddenly burst into life with 2 quick fire tries to Bevan French and Clinton Gutherson. Mitchell Moses converted both tries and the Eels lead 12-8.

Both sides struggled to dominate throughout the remainder of the first half. Dogs kicked a penalty goal right on halftime and Eels lead at the break 12-10.

The second half was an arm wrestle as both sides tried to gather momentum.

Eels looked like they had scored a try but it was ruled that Michael Jennings knocked on in the in-Goal.

The Bulldogs finally got the first points of the second half through a penalty goal and the scores were locked at 12-12.

The final 15 minutes of the game was all Bulldogs and they scored a try through Adam Elliott, Moses Mbye converted.

A Penlty goal in the final 5 minutes saw Bulldogs finish the game 20-12.
