Key Match ups:

Moses vs Brooks

The housemates go up against each other again with the score locked up at 1 all after the Tigers earlier win this season. Both players have shown what they are capable of this season and with a spot in the halves still available in the NSW origin side a good run of form from either player could see them get a Blues call up in the coming weeks.

Expect both player's to have a hand in what I'm predicting to be a highscoring match on a dry ANZ Stadium track, with the result potentially decided from the boot of Moses.

Terepo vs Aloiai

Terepo is filling in for Brown again, while Aloiai comes into the starting side with Taylor out. Both men have earnt their starting spots this season after good consistent footy. But stats wise both men were down on numbers last week.

I'm expecting both to bounce back this week and hit the 100m mark in metres gained and lead their side in defense. With some fullbacks that love floating around the middle it could be that perfectly timed offload that ends up being the difference.

Gutherson vs Thompson

Gutho, Mr. Fix It, The King... the Eels faithful call him all these plus more and you can see why. After returning from injury the mood has clearly changed at the club. He may not be the best player or do all the fancy stuff, but his influence on the field cant be measured. It wont come as a surprise if he come up with a match winning play or 2 that get the Eels over the line.

He lines up against one of the possible buys of the year in Thompson, who is playing the best football of his life. Taking the 1 off Lolohea and already earning himself a new contract. He bagged himself a double earlier this season against the Eels and with the Eels defence still far from perfect it he will be eyeing of at least one more today.

Prediction:

Just like last week, I'm expecting the Eels to get one back from the earlier defeat this season they suffered against the Tigers. But though I'm expecting a high scoring match the gap will probably be small, keeping the Eels at the bottom of the ladder for at least another week.
