Round 3 Tigers vs Broncos Review

The opening half an hour was extremely sloppy from both sides with neither side completing above 70% as they shared a penalty goal each for a 2 all scoreline at the 30 minute mark.

The errors continued from both sides towards the end of the first half as the third match in a row involving the Tigers had neither side score a first half try.

The bunker was yet again involved in what should have been a Jack Bird try on debut for Brisbane, but unfortunately for him and the Broncos the wrong call was seemingly made by the bunker. The Tigers then went the length of the field nect set through Master's to take the lead 6-4.

The Broncos received a penalty with less than 5 to go and young Isaako was able to get the 2 points to even up the score at 6 all and moments later he nailed a field goal to put the Broncos ahead with 90 seconds remaining.

Up comes the short kick off and the Tigers re-gather the ball and play out the set beautifully allowing Brooks a shot at field goal, which he also got quite comfortably and we now headed to our second game of golden point this season.

The first 5 minute period went set for set but only Milford was able to get a shot at field goal and it never looked like going over. The Broncos got a penalty in the second half of golden point and Isaako slotted it home to win the game for the Broncos 9-7.

Key point of the game:
The Bunker and referees deciding the game through some questionable decision.

Boom's player of the game.
Jamayne Isaako, scored all 9 of the Broncos points.
