Game Preview:
The big brothers vs the little brothers! This a game that could turn out to be very dangerous for the Titans. The Broncos are on a two game win streak and look to have found themselves after a disgusting Round 1 performance. Meanwhile the Titans are in a bit of a rough patch after being what looked to be a positive start to the season that ended up leading a demolishing at the hands of the Dragons last weekend.

The Titans need to pick up their defensive performance and attitude. Last week saw both edges get hammered, especially the right side in which they allowed two hat trick performances against them. Their attitude is also a factor. It seems that they are to quick to give up and drop their heads, a huge issues that needs to be solved, and needs to be solved this week.

The Broncos on the other hand addressed their defensive issues and look to be back into top 8 form. The forwards have shown some resilience as of late, especially big boy Pangai Jnr. The Broncos are playing some positive footy and it is showing in their performances over the past fortnight. Consistency will be the issue for the Broncos but, they’ll be needing to keep this form going.

Key Match ups.

Ash Taylor vs Anthony Milford.

The one who got away from the Broncos vs their future. Taylor has been looking the goods as of late and has shown his potential for Titans fans in 2018 so far. His game management and leadership is looking good, but a bit more offensive efficiently is needed. His offence will need to top Milford’s game if they are to win this. Milford has slowly been getting better and better as a half, but will need to truly own this position if the Broncos want to be a serious success. He at times lacks that dominant half game management, and can still at times have a very off game.

Andrew McCullough vs Nathan Peats.

The Hooker position is sometimes very underrated. And as of late it has been. Not many have noticed the work McCullough has put in. His tackle rate and defence has been huge, and his leadership has been even bigger. That can’t slow down at all. The Broncos forward have shown lapses at times, and he’s the man to help fix that. He will be coming up against Nathan Peats fighting to keep his NSW jersey. Peats has struggled a bit lately, but his forwards even more so. He will need to help get his big boys going if they are going to have any chance of winning this game.

Josh McGuire vs Ryan James.

Two players who have definitely struggled offensively this season. Both players who in their prime are one of the best in their position, that however hasn’t been to present lately. Josh McGuire has been working hard, but has seemed to look a bit unfit at times. Wether it’s fitness, injury or a simple game plan, we don’t know, but we do know he needs to lift that aggression. The same can be said for Ryan James. Since being handed the captaincy he’s really failed to step up. Sure he’s doing his basic job, but the aggression has definitely disappeared from the once was one million dollar forward. As a leader he needs to get this Titans forward pack back in line. It’ll be a long season otherwise!

Stonecold’s Prediction: Broncos by 16.
I don’t see the Titans addressing their issues overnight, however I don’t see them letting in 50 points again. I have the Broncos showing their class and coming away with a comfortable win.
