Red Star Belgrade vs Partizan Belgrade Match Preview

Two bitter rivals prepare to face off tomorrow as Red Star take on Partizan Belgrade in a repeat of the Serbian Super Cup final, Partizan sure to be out for revenge after losing out on silverware and the bragging rights.

Red Star come into this fixture full of confidence after last week's victory over the Bilgi Badgers in Turkey, the Serbian side racking up 110 points in 80 minutes of football, whereas Partizan fell just short against CSKA last week, leading the match all the way up to the last 5 minutes but conceding two quick tries to subsequently lose the game.

Coach Trev Smith has named a very strong side for this fixture saying "I'm expecting a very tough game as Partizan would be wanting payback after we had beaten them back in February for the Serbian Super Cup so we can't be taking them lightly as they're a good team"

Smith naming his squad as; Milos Zogovic, Rajko Trifunovic, Petar Milanović, Denis Cengaj, Vuk Strbac, Jack O'Brian, Stefan Nikolić, Slobodan Milenković, Vlada Dedic, Monté Gaddis, Sam Herron, Aca Đorđević, Velibor Srećković, Brodie Feeney, Nikola Đurić, Adam Pavlović, Stefan Đorđević, Slobodan Manak, Petar Pavlović.

The clash is due to take place on the 01/04/18 at the Ada Ciganlija in Belgrade, kick off is at 16:00PM Serbian time or 15:00 BST for British viewers, there will be a livestream of the match and the link can be found on Red Star's official Facebook page linked below.
