NRL To Block England And Kiwi Stars From Denver International

The shine has well and truly been taken off the June international test match as the NRL is looking to block their star players heading to the US.

A number of players have hit out at the proposal by the clubs and the NRL, seeing the decision as selfish and closed minded.

If the proposal is successful, New Zealand will be without the likes of Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Shaun Johnson, Martin Taupau and pretty much their entire first choice lineup which presents the question, is there any point of the game going ahead?

England will be without the Burgess trio, Elliot Whitehead and a few more big names as the Super League will look to follow suit with their Australian counterparts.

I personally don't blame either league for this, the book surely sits with the organisers who dragged their feet with the decision and then put the fixture in the middle of the season, Castleford will likely block Luke Gale and a host of others as their league fixture against Wigan has been moved to the day before the international test.

What's your view on the situation?
