Naths Monday Signings and Rumours

So here we are at the end of round 1, each week on a Monday morning I’ll be coming to you with all the signings/re-signings and general contract rumours from the week.

This week has been a busy week with a few players putting pen to paper for new clubs and their current clubs for beyond 2018.

Along with some rumours of players wanting to move on.

Let’s get down to it

Canterbury Bulldogs:
Jeremy Marshall-King - Re-signed until the 2020 season.

Canberra Raiders:
Ata Hingano - Signs for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
John Bateman - Rumour from England that the World Cup Second Rower has possibly signed a contract to head over and test himself in the NRL. Makes sense given that Ricky Stuart has lured a couple of players from the Super League in the past and has had success.

Cronulla Sharks:
Ryan Sutton: The Wigan prop is rumoured to be linked with the Shire club.

Gold Coast Titans:
Tyrone Peachey - Although not club official it is known that Peachey has signed with the Titans on a lucrative 3 year deal starting in 2019.

Melbourne Storm:
Felise Kaufusi - set to re-sign with the club despite generating interest from South Sydney Rabbitohs looking to replace the Bondi bound Angus Crichton.

North Queensland Cowboys:
Michael Morgan - Re-signed for a further 5 years.
Todd Carney: Well known that the Cowboys are trying to register a contract for the former Sharks playmaker.

Parramatta Eels:
Daniel Alvaro - Re-signed for a further year.
Will Smith - A favourite of Brad Arthur’s, Smith has re-signed for a further 2 years.
Nathan Brown - After a breakthrough year in 2017, Brown has been rewarded with a 3 year extension which will see him at he club till 2021.

Penrith Panthers:
Josh Mansour - In a club interview during the week the World Cup winger admitted he understands he may not be at the club in 2019. His motivation for his next contract is his family. Parramatta have reportedly put in a strong bid that will make it hard for Penrith to compete with while Bulldogs and Roosters are also keeping a close eye on Mansour.

Sydney Roosters:
Kurt Baptiste - Again not officially announced by the club but the hooker was released by his club in England after 1 game and it’s well known he will head to the Roosters for a year to help cover the hooker position.
Latrell Mitchell: Signed an extension till 2020.
Nat Butcher: Signed an extension till 2020.
Joseph Manu: Signed an extension till 2020.

That’s it for this week guys, if you have a rumour please send me a message Brough the page and we will make sure to put it up.
