Toronto Overcome First Test In Championship

The Toronto Wolfpack have opened their campaign with a win over a very strong Leigh side.

Leigh have been named as the Canadian sides fiercest competition in 2018 and also their biggest threat to a possible place in Super League, things didn't look great for the newly promoted side, conceding after just 3 minutes when Hansen scored for Leigh.
Leigh would race out to a 12 point lead after less than 15 minutes, Dawson finding his way to the line for the Centurions, by the way that the game was going, nobody could've anticipated that would be the last time Leigh would score.

Sidlow Would begin the revolution and Kay would grab his first try of the game to send the Wolfpack in at the half behind by just 2 points. 4 minutes into the second half, Corey Patterson would race 80 metres clear to score from an interception.

The game gradually got further and further out of the Centurions reach, Kay would complete a hatrick and Ryan Brierley would also make the score-sheet, leaving Toronto to claim a 34-12 victory.
