Barba Believes There's Still Time To Revive his NRL Career

Speaking to NRL.com, Ben Barba has revealed that he still has plenty of time on his side, if he were to try his hand back in the NRL.

Barba recently revealed that NRL sides has spoken with his management in regards to his availability, but Barba is determined to see his time with St Helens through.

Barba looks like he will honour his contract, expiring at the end of 2019, looks to avoid a heated battle with the side that has rejuvenated his career.

Super League's most recent contractual debacle saw James Segeyaro go toe to toe with Leeds, in an effort to force the Super League sides hand in releasing the hooker, as a result this burned any bridges between the two parties and sparked a fierce backlash from fans, clubs and players.

Barba has been tipped for Man Of Steel, Super League's equivalent of The Dally M, and after Friday's man of the match performance against Castleford, it's clear to see why, scoring two tries, creating three tries and being just a general nightmare to deal with.

Barba stated that he would love another shot in the NRL if the league allowed him, however he does seem to be staying loyal to the club that has helped rebuild his image, I'm very excited to see the best of Ben Barba through 2018, let's see what the future brings for the fallen star.
