Manly Recruit John Folau

Former Parramatta Eels back, John Folau, has been picked up by the Sea Eagles for 2018.

Injuries would see other players given a chance to shine at the Eels, forcing Folau further and further out of the picture, eventually bringing on his exit of the club. It's understood he will begin the season with the Blacktown Workers, Manly's feeder team.

Folau isn't a man short of talent, when he was on the field he was more than capable of producing, but as previously mentioned, injuries have thwarted his efforts time and time again.

Folau will be expected to prove his worth at Blacktown before Manly offer him a spot, it has been almost 2 years since his last first grade NRL, which was on the 30th of July 2016 against the Tigers.
