Johnstone Back For Trinity

Tom Johnstone suffered an unfortunate ACL blow out back in May 2017, leaving the England hopeful requiring surgery to fix the ruptured ligaments.

Johnstone hasn't played a game in Wakefield colours since the injury, due to the lengthy rehabilitation that comes with an ACL injury. Thankfully Johnstone has made a full recovery and he has now been named in the squad for Wakefield's friendly against Halifax.

The 22 year-old is undoubtedly one of Super League's brightest up and coming talents, and has been tipped to make his England debut in coming seasons, scoring 40 tries in 54 appearances for Trinity since his debut in 2015.

Johnstone back on the wing will be a sight many Trinity fans have missed, while his replacement Mason Caton-Brown did a stand up job in his spot, Wakefield are a visibly stronger squad with the livewire winger in their squad.

Keep your eye on Johnstone in 2018, he will certainly be looking to make up for lost time.
