Trueman Pens Castleford Extension

The young halfback that shocked Super League with a hatrick on his full debut against Wigan, has signed an extension that keeps him at the club until the end of the 2020 season.

Trueman has been dubbed as "the most promising young English halfback in the English game", by coach Daryl Powell.

The 18 year-old is a product of the Bradford Bulls Academy and only joined the Tigers back in January this year.

He currently has 3 Super League appearances to his name and is hoping to add to that total in 2018, saying "I'm looking to play as many games as I can in 2018 as I look to put pressure on the two starting halves.
