Quade Cooper Assessing NRL Options

Former Wallabies star, Quade Cooper, is said to be considering swapping codes, after being told he is not in the Queensland Reds' plans for 2018.

Cooper is attracting attention from Japanese Rugby Union, but he has always had hopes of playing in the NRL.

Back in 2011 the Eels almost snapped up the quick-footed playmaker, but were unable to get Cooper to put pen to paper.

With no other Super Rugby team in the market for the 29 year-old, it is becoming increasingly likely, Cooper will sign with an NRL side, but he is said to be keeping his options open.
