Mcgillvary Named Player Of The Tournament

England and Huddersfield winger, Jermaine Mcgillvary, has been named as the World Cup player of the tournament.

Mcgillvary scored 7 tries in total in England's World Cup campaign, he probably saved just as many on England's right edge too.

The big winger finished ahead of the likes of Jason Taumalolo and Sio Taukeiaho, on 1251 attacking run metres, to claim the title of leading metre maker.  Mcgillvary had a very successful tournament that would help towards his nomination for the Golden Boot Award, Cameron Smith would take the spoils on the night.

Congratulations to Jermaine, he has certainly deserved this accolade.
