Keary And Friend Sign Extensions

Reports are coming out of Bondi today that the Roosters have extended the contracts of two of their key players.

Luke Keary and Jake Friend have been given extended contracts, that keep keary at the Sydney club until the end of 2021, whereas Friend stays until the end of 2020.

Both players were due to be off contract by the end of the 2018 season, however it seems the Roosters have been proactive by preventing two of their key players leaving the club.

Keary has been with the team for just over a year now, this extension sees the playmaker stick around for at least another 3 years, as the Roosters look to make him an integral part of the squad.

Friend has been with the Roosters since his debut back in 2008, since that time he has made over 200 appearances, become co-captain and won a premiership, keeping him will be a big plus for the Roosters 2018 season and beyond.
