Hampshire Signs For Wakefield

Wakefield have recruited utility, Ryan Hamphsire, from Leigh for the 2018 season.

Hamphshire started his career with Wigan back in 2013, before falling out of favour and leaving for Castleford on loan in 2016 and eventually a move to Leigh in 2017.

The 2017 season saw Hampshire make 15 appearances, scoring 3 tries, in the season that Leigh succumbed to relegation to the Championship after one season in Super League.

The quick footed back has over 50 first grade appearances to his name since his 2013 debut, scoring 21 tries in his career so far. He brings some squad depth to the Trinity, as he is an incredibly versatile player, able to play; fullback, wing and even in the halves.

At 22 years-old, he still has plenty of time ahead of him, he will be hoping to nail down consistent regular appearances in 2018.
