Adam Cuthbertson Announced As Rhinos Women's Coach

Former Newcastle and current Leeds Rhinos forward, Adam Cuthbertson, has been unveiled as the coach for the Leeds Rhinos women's team, for their inaugural Super League campaign in 2018.

St Helens and Wigan both announced that they would also enter teams for the 2018 season. Cuthbertson has been an integral part of the Rhinos team for 3 years and was deemed the perfect candidate to spearhead the running of the women's team.

Speaking to Sky Sports the Australian forward said "It's good to see girls getting involved at Leeds and having an opportunity to be part of the first Leeds Rhinos women's rugby league team".

It is yet another exciting prospect for the women's game, after earlier this week it was revealed just how close Australia was to a Women's NRL competition. This all comes off the back of an exciting Women's Rugby League World Cup, it really is great to see the Women's game on the rise.
