A New Chapter In The ‘Book Of Fueds’

A lot has happened between the two remaining foundation clubs, but this could just be the tip of the iceberg, as Angus Critchon has been lured back to where it all started, in the Eastern Suburbs.

Critchon has told the South Sydney Rabbitohs that they will no longer receive his services after the 2018 premiership season, and will be joining the Bondi-based club on a three-year deal, starting in 2019.

It was believed the Rabbitohs had offered Angus a deal worth around 500k, but weren’t able to match the money the Roosters had thrown at the young star, which was believed to be a million dollar contract, but instead these claims have been shot down by the Roosters chairman Nick Politis, reassuring that “the numbers that have been quoted are totally wrong”.

This is considerably a massive body blow to the Bunnies, as they had Angus in their sights for the long run, but yet failed to snap him up, and once again have lost another battle to their arch-rivals. Though the matter in question is, has Angus made an unloyal decision to leave the club so suddenly?

It is believed Angus has signed with the Sydney Roosters on a three-year contract, that will be announced in the next couple of days.
