2018 Super League Movers 13

With the 2018 Super League season just weeks away, we decided to build a squad of the best 13 players to sign for a new Super League club in 2018.

1. David Mead (Brisbane to Catalans)
The Kumuls captain is a massive signing for the Dragons, a man with plenty of skill and experience, he will certainly bring a new threat to the Dragons attack for the 2018 season.

2. Bryson Goodwin (South Sydney to Warrington)
Goodwin is a former New Zealand international, he is capable of top quality finishes and has over 170 NRL games on his Rugby League CV, the only drawback is Goodwin is 31, and everybody knows the first thing to go is a players pace, something that is key to a winger, regardless though, a real quality signing.

3. Krisnan Inu (Catalans to Vikings)
Inu has been on the Super League circuit for a while now with the Catalans Dragons, however he will be wearing a different strip in 2018. Widnes signed the giant back earlier this month, he brings some much needed experience into the Vikings side, as well as plenty of ability.

4. Kato Ottio (Raiders to Vikings)
The name Kato Ottio isn't the most well known at the minute, however he is a player that could really work wonders in the centre for the Vikings. Ottio has spent the last 2 years playing for the Canberra Raiders feeder team, the Mount Pritchard Mounties, scoring 29 tries in 23 games in 2016, a long term injury would sideline Ottio for large parts of 2017. After a successful World Cup with PNG, Widnes obtained his services for 2018.

5. Garry Lo (Sheffield Eagles to Castleford)
Garry Lo is a very big winger, he has played in the UK for the last 2 years with Sheffield, scoring 50 tries in 46 games, a very impressive record. His love for scoring points doesn't stop at a domestic level either, the big man has 4 tries in his 5 games PNG career, one of them shrugging off 4 would-be tacklers to score in the 2017 World Cup.

6. Richie Myler (Catalans to Leeds)
Myler joins the Rhinos after spending a few seasons with Catalans, he brings with him some much needed experience, to this very young Leeds side. Myler is a very good player and will play a very big part in Leeds' Super League campaign.

7. Tyrone Roberts (Titans to Warrignton)
Roberts will slot into the halves for the Wolves in 2018, he has plenty of NRL experience to help guide him through Super League, Roberts will likely be the linchpin of Warrington for years to come.

8. Pauli Pauli (Knights to Wakefield)
Pauli Pauli is officially one of the heaviest men in Super League, weighing in at 125 kilos, he is half man, half wrecking ball, and is definitely going to take some stopping.

9. Brad Dwyer (Warrignton to Leeds)
Dwyer is likely to play a similar role to that of Rob Burrow in the previous season, an injection of energy from the bench out of dummy half. He is well known for his high energy style and quick thinking from dummy half.

10. Mickey Paea (Knights to Hull FC)
This is Paea's second stint with Hull FC, he was a solid, reliable, metre maker in his first time round with the club. Hull FC fans will be hoping he can repeat his form that attracted the attention of NRL clubs.

11. Ben Nakubuwai (Titans to Salford)
The Fijian may have only two NRL appearances to his name, but he is definitely a man to watch out for in the coming season. He impressed with Fiji in the World Cup and will look to build on his performances, at just 21 years of age, he will surely only get better.

12. Benjamin Jullien (Warrington to Catalans)
The young French man failed to establish himself amongst the ranks at Warrington, developing homesickness too, however now back in France and training very well, I have no doubts he will be fundamental in the Dragons 2018 campaign.

13. Ben Murdoch-Masila (Salford to Warrington)
Ben Murdoch-Masila was one of the most dominant forwards in Super League in 2017, now surrounded by top quality playmaker's at Warrington, surely the big man is set for a killer season with the Wolves.
