Lawerence Retires

Former Manly forward Brenton Lawerence has announced his decision to retire with immediate effect, the 32 year old announced that he would join  the Gold Coast Titans this year, but has since changed his mind and will walk away from the game.

Lawerence debuted for the Titans back in 2011 and was set rejoin for the 2018 season, Lawerence said "It's with mixed emotions I make this decision. I would love to feel like a 20-year-old and have many more seasons ahead, the reality is I'm not and I believe this is the best decision for the team, and for myself"

The forward racked up over 100 first grade NRL appearances in his 6 year career for Manly and the Titans. Recurring injuries marred Lawerence's career and are most likely to be the cause for this career ending decision.
